Great ep. Hard to watch without immediately going back and watching the entire Cassevetes/Falk pantheon. Much like the previous episode (construction site) a lot of fun had with the great setting (Hollywood Bowl). My wife’s big theory is Blythe Danner is seriously pregnant with Gwyneth during this one.

Great head fakes. Solid bits at the city permit office. Killer setting at the huge construction site.

McDowell annoying from the second he walks on. Half baked.

I guess it was a smart pivot as he aged, especially considering his remarkable proficiency at it, but part of me is sad Leslie Nielsen gave up drama. He's great!
